Google releases standalone Camera app on Play Store

Google has released their standalone camera app that can be installed on any Android running smartphone or a tablet. The free app gives users a simplistic user interface that Google has for its Nexus devices and brings in some new camera modes.

With the new camera app, users will always shoot an image in full resolution and gain support for improve panorama, Photo Sphere and Lens Blur to give a DSLR-like bokeh effect.

The app can now be downloaded from Play Store and works with any device running Android 4.4 and above.
